Verizon Opposes TCPA Changes; And Comments on Enhanced Robocall Mitigation Database
Your FCC Update for 11/12/2024 Summarizing 6 Filings from 2 Hot Proceedings
Dear Friends of The Docket Digest,
Any time a carrier files on a docket, it is a big deal like when AT&T did its filing on blocking 9.5 billion texts. Verizon’s filing makes the case that a carrier’s own messages that are ‘toll free’, as in free of charge to the end user, should be exempt from the TCPA.
Also, the Robocall Mitigation Database got many comments from concerned citizens. I usually filter them out, however this is a test to see if you find them useful. Please let me know.
Thank you for your support,
TJ
