Dear Friends of The Docket Digest,

Two heavyweight NPRMs dropped this week—each moving from debate to direction.

The first (FCC 25-76) makes clear that the FCC is aligning with providers pushing for verified branding, Rich Call Data (RCD), and foreign-origin call tagging, while rejecting arguments to keep older TCPA protections intact. The second (FCC 25-73) confirms that the Commission is siding with national providers like AT&T and Verizon who say it’s time to sunset TDM obligations and normalize IP-to-IP interconnection.

This is less about asking what to do and more about refining how to do it. Here’s the breakdown.

Stay informed,
TJ
