AI Docket Extended; The Docket Digest Unveils EDOCS Integration and a New Docket to Watch
Your FCC ECFS Update for 10/24/2024
Dear Friends of The Docket Digest,
It seems the FCC took notice of the volume of comments on the AI docket, and as a result, the deadline has been extended to November 15, 2024. Part of the challenge is giving responders enough time to fully digest the TCPA AI NPRM and NOI.
The Docket Digest now also monitors EDOCS—the FCC’s system for managing the release of all official documentation. Just like with ECFS, we’ll be keeping an eye on it for any messaging-related topics.
The FCC is setting its sights on improving the quality of customer service in the communications industry. While this typically refers to carriers, given that its sister agency—the FTC—is cracking down on hard-to-cancel software subscriptions, it wouldn’t be surprising if CPaaS providers come under scrutiny as well.
We’re continuing to build out new features and track more dockets, and we’re far from finished. Thank you for your ongoing support and for being part of this journey.
